Matteo provides assistance to investors, professional lenders, corporates, and financial sponsors in banking and private debt transactions (including corporate lending, real estate finance, and acquisition finance) as well as structured finance transactions (securitisations, NPLs, and trade receivables financing). He also provides assistance to financial institutions and operating companies in the Fintech sector.

Before joining WST (formerly Fieldfisher Italy), he worked first in London and then in Milan in the banking and structured finance department of a primary Italian law firm.

In 2018 he has been appointed “honorary fellow” at the Università Bicocca in Milan in the economics and corporate law department.

I qualified as an Italian lawyer (avvocato) in 2017 and he is a member of the Milan Bar.

He graduated in law from the Università Statale in Milan in 2014 and obtained an MBA (major in finance) from Imperial College London in 2021.
