Alessandro is a litigator and an expert in international arbitration with over 20 years’ experience. He is qualified as a lawyer in Italy and as a solicitor in England and Wales.

He has particular expertise advising clients domestically and internationally on disputes concerning Construction, Oil&Gas, Energy, Commercial, M&A issues and has been involved in numerous multi-million Euros litigation and arbitration cases before Italian Courts and several European arbitral institutions (ICC, CAM, VIAC, LCIA, GAFTA).

In the recent past he has acted for a European State in a case involving military supplies, for a world leading oil company in a one billion case and for a world leading gas player in several multi-million cases.

Before joining WST (formerly Fieldfisher Italy) Alessandro  spents almost 15 years at two major italian law firms. 

He contributes to Global Arbitration Review and for the last three years he wrote the Italian Chapter in their M&A Arbitration Guide.
