Patrick specialises in antitrust and competition law, advising on all aspects of the EU and Italian regimes including merger control proceedings, cartel investigations, distribution and go-to-market, cooperation agreements, technology transfer, abuse of dominance, actions for antitrust damages, compliance and internal investigations, State aids.

He also assists clients with respect to unfair commercial practices/consumer protection law and Foreign Direct Investment/Golden Power filings.

He has worked with clients across a broad range of industries such as energy, insurance, pharma, automotive, logistics, gambling, EPC, fashion, etc.

Patrick is a Supreme Court lawyer registered with the Milan Bar Association. 

He graduated with honours from the University of Milan in 2003. He obtained an LL.M. degree in EU and Antitrust Law from the Cambridge University in 2005 and a Ph.D. degree in EU Competition Law from the University of Milan in 2008. Patrick also studied at the University of Nijmegen (the Netherlands) in 2000, he was a visiting scholar at the University of California at Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall) in 2002, a research assistant in EU Law at the University of Ulster (Londonderry, UK) in 2003, and a lecturer on EU Law at the University of Bergamo in 2013.

Patrick is widely published on competition law matters and he frequently participates as speaker and moderator at seminars and conferences.
