Senior Counsel – Intellectual Property
For over twenty-five years, Cristina has been dealing with trademarks, patents, know-how, design, unfair competition, advertising, copyright, software, image, name and portrait protection, misleading advertising and unfair commercial practices, internet and new technology law, e-commerce and selective distribution, and influencer marketing.
She advises in the field of intellectual property for the development and defence of the intangible assets of companies, which she also assists in the drafting of contracts involving intangible assets – licensing, franchising, co-branding, sponsorship contracts – and in legal proceedings (precautionary and substantive, also with cross-border implications), before national and EU Courts.
Cristina also handles prosecution activities before the UIBM and EUIPO, as well as Alternative Dispute Resolution for domain reassignment.
She graduated in industrial law from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan in 1995, has been a member of the Milan Bar since March 1999 and attended the 39th Academy of American and International Law (Dallas -Texas, USA) in 2002.
She is a member of ECTA (European Community Trademark Association) and AIPPI (Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriété Intellectuelle) and since 2006 a member of the scientific editorial board of Giurisprudenza Annotata di Diritto Industriale, the leading journal in the sector.
She is the author of numerous articles and co-author of the Commentary on Industrial Law. She regularly carries out training activities in the field of industrial law and copyright law.
