Matteo provides assistance, both judicial and extrajudicial, to public and private entities.

In particular, he deals with the regulatory compliance of public bodies (anti-corruption, transparency, digitalisation of processes, ‘above and below threshold’ awards, performance evaluation), public services and contracts, and health and professional law.

It also provides assistance – also for the participation in public-private partnerships – to entities competing in tender procedures and in proceedings for obtaining incentives for entrepreneurial activities, as well as – especially in the health and social-health field – for obtaining authorisations and accreditations, working alongside the client at every stage of the procedure and also following, where necessary, the relevant litigation stages before administrative and civil justice bodies.

It also assists clients, both public and private, in the sectors of urban redevelopment, private construction and urban infrastructural interventions, with reference to urban planning and construction issues, providing assistance in the various project phases.

Before joining WST, Matteo worked for a well-known firm in Padova specialised in administrative law and was then Senior Associate of a major international law firm.

He holds a PhD and is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Padova.

He has been and still is a member of the Board of Directors and a member of the Supervisory Board in listed corporations and benefit foundations, as well as Chairman of Technical Advisory Boards under the Public Contracts Code.
Matteo has been a member and serves on scientific committees and institutional commissions at national and local level, is a regular speaker at numerous conferences and workshops, and the author of several cutting-edge publications in the field of administrative law.
