Renato built his professional expertise in bank, finance and commercial law, focusing particularly on corporate, contract and restructuring law.
He has been involved in several industrial and commercial merger deals, some of which were the results of restructuring projects.
His work has included being a legal advisor on extraordinary administration procedures (a special bankruptcy procedure provided for by Italian law) and he has been appointed – by Banca d’Italia – to two extraordinary administration procedures at local banks.
Renato has been a member of many boards of directors and boards of statutory auditors and he is currently chairman of the Board of Directors of an asset management company.
He is a lecturer on bank governance and Law 231/01 at the University of Turin – Management Department. He is the Honorary Consul of Hungary in Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta.
